Since entering the Philadelphia music scene in 2012, Charity Luyben has been entertaining audiences across the Philadelphia area as a member of multiple wedding and party bands. After graduating high school in her hometown, Somerville, NJ, Charity began her music career studying Classical Voice at James Madison University. She later completed her degree in music education with high honors at The College of New Jersey in 2010. During her time at TCNJ, she starred as Belinda in the opera Dido and Aeneas and performed Mozart’s Requiem at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center. In addition to her classical and popular music experience, Charity is also an accomplished Yoga instructor in Princeton, NJ. Today, she is a yoga teacher by day, leading various group classes, workshops and teacher trainings and a rock singer by night, rocking the stages of Philly and Jersey as a member of the Don’t Call Me Francis Band.
